Alex Bargmann is CEO and Co-Founder of Pathpoint, the first open digital wholesale brokerage for the Excess & Surplus insurance market.

Alex studied History, Philosophy, and Public Affairs at Claremont McKenna College, graduating in 2011. He worked as VP of Product at Noodle Education and at HVF Labs (Max Levchin's fintech startup studio) before co-founding Pathpoint in 2017.

Alex led Pathpoint through three consecutive years of tripling Gross Written Premium growth. The company secured binding authority partnerships with six carriers and established a Lloyd's of London coverholder relationship.

Pathpoint raised over $51M from investors including Caffeinated Capital, Founders Fund, SciFi VC, Chubb, and Hiscox. The platform serves over 5,000 appointed agents nationwide.

Pathpoint is licensed in all 50 states and delivers bindable E&S quotes to agents in minutes versus the traditional days or weeks. The company has expanded into mid-market transactional brokerage with 12 carriers and MGUs participating.
