Ali Khokhar is the Co-Founder and CEO of Amigo AI, a New York-based healthcare AI platform dedicated to building safe, reliable clinical agents for healthcare organizations.

Ali earned a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen's University and completed executive education at Universita Bocconi, before launching Amigo in 2023 alongside co-founder and CTO John Xing.

Ali is passionate about making AI trustworthy in high-stakes environments, pioneering the concept that clinical AI agents must be trained the same way doctors are, through rigorous simulation and residency-style evaluation.

Prior to Amigo, Ali served as a Product Lead at Upwork Labs, Upwork's internal AI-native product incubator, and began his career at Google on both the core ads and consumer growth teams.

Amigo has raised $17M in total funding including an $11M Series A led by Madrona with participation from Optum Ventures, and its agents have completed over 3 million patient encounters worldwide with zero safety incidents.
