Amit holds a BS in Computer Science and MS in Biomedical Informatics from Stanford, and an MBA from Harvard, and built his career over 25+ years in Silicon Valley at Google, Norwest Ventures, and Samsung NEXT Ventures.

Born and raised in Brazil, Amit speaks three languages fluently, lives a carbon-neutral lifestyle, is a 70.3 Ironman finisher, and is a Forbes contributor on AI, digital health, and venture capital.

Prior to Tau Ventures, Amit co-founded HealthIQ (valued at $450M at Series D), seed-funded nuTonomy (sold for $450M) at Samsung NEXT, and backed Misfit Wearables (sold for $260M) at Norwest Ventures.
