
Anshul Paul is Co-Founder and CEO of BaseFrame, an enterprise-grade security platform for AI agents based in San Francisco. He is a UC Berkeley M.E.T. (Management, Entrepreneurship, & Technology) graduate combining technical expertise with business acumen.
Anshul was the first full-time employee and founding engineer at HappyRobot, a Y Combinator-backed AI voice agent company, where he built omni-channel AI communication systems, AI evaluations, and enterprise integrations. He graduated from UC Berkeley in 2024 with dual degrees in EECS and Business.
At HappyRobot, Anshul gained deep experience in AI agent infrastructure and enterprise system integrations. His technical background spans computer security, databases, algorithms, and probability theory from Berkeley's rigorous EECS curriculum.
BaseFrame (W26) is part of Y Combinator's Winter 2026 batch and focuses on enterprise-grade security for broad-access AI agents. The company was co-founded with Vaibhav Agrawal and is based in San Francisco.
Anshul's work at HappyRobot contributed to building AI voice agents serving enterprise customers at scale. At BaseFrame, he is now addressing critical security challenges as AI agents gain broader access to enterprise systems and data.
