
Anton Levy is an Advisory Director at General Atlantic, a leading global growth equity firm with over $118 billion in assets under management. He previously served as Co-President and Chairman of Global Technology until January 2025, where he led investments in transformative technology companies.
Anton graduated from the University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce with a B.S. in Commerce and a minor in Computer Science, then earned his M.B.A. from Columbia Business School. He began his career as an investment banker at Morgan Stanley in 1996, focusing on technology clients, before joining General Atlantic in 1998.
Anton has been named to the Forbes Midas List of top investors consecutively from 2014 to 2024, appearing ten times total. He serves as Chairman of Streetwise Partners and on the boards of University of Virginia's endowment and WNYC.
Anton led General Atlantic's landmark investments in Alibaba, Facebook, Airbnb, Uber, Snapchat, Slack, CrowdStrike, Squarespace, and Bytedance. The Alibaba investment delivered an 18x return when it went public in one of the largest IPOs ever, becoming one of General Atlantic's most successful investments.
Under Anton's technology leadership, General Atlantic invested in over 445 global growth companies and became a pioneer in growth equity investing. He joined Warner Bros. Discovery's Board of Directors in 2025 and continues to shape the technology investment landscape as an advisor.
