Archy de Berker is Co-Founder and CTO at Axle Energy, a London-based B2B software platform building the operating system for decarbonised electricity grids.

Archy holds a PhD in Neuroscience from UCL and a BA in Natural Sciences from Cambridge, and previously led data science and product at CarbonChain, a supply chain carbon footprinting startup.

With 9 years of data science and ML leadership spanning climate tech and energy, Archy applies rigorous research discipline to product strategy and grid forecasting.

Prior to Axle Energy, Archy consulted for Climate TRACE and TransitionZero on heavy industry emissions monitoring, and held ML and product roles at Habitat Energy, Element AI, and Origami Energy.

Axle Energy has raised over $30M across pre-seed, seed, and Series A rounds, and now manages more than 300,000 connected devices representing over 2GW of flexible grid capacity.
