Armando holds postgraduate research credentials in Machine Learning from ETH Zurich and built his technical foundation through roles at QuantCo and Entrepreneur First, as well as service in the Swiss Armed Forces.

With a background in AI and deep experience in insurance, Armando champions a philosophy of purposeful automation, building technology that understands the workflow and changes it with intent, not just for the sake of innovation.

At Strala, Armando leads the engineering of a modular, full-stack claims platform covering every phase of the claims lifecycle from FNOL to subrogation, integrating AI automation with human professional oversight.

In under a year, Strala reached multi seven-figure ARR growing 50% month-over-month, raised a 13x oversubscribed $3.8M seed round from Peter Thiel's Founders Fund and Emergence Capital, and now serves 26 clients across the US.
