Arpan Parikh, MD, MBA, FAPA is Co-Founder and CEO of Kin Health, a consumer digital health platform transforming how patients understand and act on physician conversations.
A double board-certified psychiatrist and addiction medicine specialist, Arpan earned his MD from Ohio State University College of Medicine and an MBA in Healthcare Management from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Arpan co-founded Kin after personally navigating the fragmented care experience while helping his mother-in-law through breast cancer treatment remotely, recognizing that even medically trained families struggle to retain and act on critical health information.
Prior to Kin, Arpan served as Senior Director of Clinical Experience at Ro, National Director of Behavioral Health at CareMore Health, and as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the Keck School of Medicine at USC.
Kin Health raised a $9M seed round led by Maveron and is available on both the Apple and Google Play app stores, targeting the nearly one billion physician appointments that occur annually in the US without a reliable patient-owned record.
