Ashwin Bhatnagar is Co-Founder at Xflow, a cross-border payments infrastructure company enabling Indian businesses to send and receive money globally across 100+ countries in 25+ currencies. He is also an angel investor in 2 startups and serves on the board of 1 company.

Ashwin served as Payments and Product Technical Advisor (Chief of Staff to CPO) at Stripe, Senior Program Manager for Special Projects at Amazon, and Principal Consultant at PwC India. He holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's degree from Visvesvaraya Technological University.

Ashwin co-founded Xflow in 2021 with former Stripe colleagues Anand Balaji and Abhijit Chandrasekaran after spending significant time building payments infrastructure at Stripe and Amazon. He also previously co-founded What will I do about it.

Xflow raised $16.6M in Series A led by General Catalyst with participation from Stripe, PayPal Ventures, Square Peg, Lightspeed, and Moore Capital, bringing total funding to $32.8M at an $85M valuation. The company holds Payment Aggregator Cross Border (PA-CB) authorization from the Reserve Bank of India for both exports and imports.

Xflow processed close to $1 billion in annualized cross-border payment volume in 2025, representing 10x growth year-over-year, and serves 15,000 businesses including SaaS firms, exporters, and global capability centers. The platform reduced FX costs by 50% for customers and introduced an AI-powered treasury tool that helps businesses earn an extra 8-10 paise per dollar.
