Athreya earned a Master's in Machine Learning and AI from Georgia Tech and built deep technical expertise across Google, AWS Inferentia, and Tesla before co-founding Hardware Intelligence in 2026.

At Google, Athreya served as a tech lead driving AI efforts across organizations, from agentic workflow management tools to prediction models for Google Ventures.

Athreya co-founded Hardware Intelligence alongside Rishov Sarkar (a Georgia Tech PhD in hardware acceleration), launching their first product Wave, an AI debugger and agentic waveform viewer for chip design.

Hardware Intelligence is tackling a critical bottleneck in the AI era by replacing legacy EDA tools with agent-native workflows, enabling chip engineers to process and debug designs dramatically faster.
