Ben Fuxbruner is Co-Founder and CEO of Kimba, a pioneering AI-powered sleep tech company that uses personalized scent therapy to improve sleep without drugs or disruption.
A former special forces commander in the Israel Defense Forces canine unit, Ben earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Tel Aviv University and previously held roles at Intel Corporation and Innovation: Africa.
After a near-death combat injury left him with PTSD and chronic insomnia, Ben discovered the power of scent as a sleep aid, a personal breakthrough that became the foundation for Kimba, which is named after a service dog he lost in combat.
Ben led an electromechanical department of 15 engineers across 6 countries at Innovation: Africa, developing solar technologies that benefited over 4 million people, before channeling that engineering expertise into building Kimba's AI-driven biometric platform.
Kimba has raised $6.5M in seed funding led by Selva Ventures and early clinical trials showed 73% of participants falling asleep faster, with 75% increasing total sleep time by an average of 20 additional minutes per night.
