Ben Robertson is Co-Founder and Founding Engineer at Marloo, an AI-powered platform transforming how financial advisers manage admin, compliance, and client documentation across New Zealand, Australia, and the UK.

Ben studied at Victoria University of Wellington and built his entrepreneurial foundation through two Wellington-based startups: Roadtrip, an EV and fuel cost calculator app, and Upstock, a hospitality ordering platform.

Ben brings a product-driven engineering mindset to Marloo, with a track record of building and scaling consumer apps across ANZ and into international markets including the UK and Australia.

At Marloo, Ben and his co-founders interviewed roughly 800 potential customers before building, ensuring the product addressed the real pain point that up to 60% of the total cost of financial advice goes to administration and compliance.

Marloo has raised $12.7M in total funding led by Blackbird Ventures, grown at 42% month-on-month for 11 consecutive months, and now serves over 650 advisory firms across six countries.
