Catheryn holds degrees in Computer Science and Math from MIT and spent 4 years at Y Combinator leading the software team for Startup School, YC Library, and Co-Founder Matching. She previously worked as a Software Engineer at Facebook, building features for Instagram Stories and the Facebook newsfeed that reached millions of users.

Catheryn co-founded Simple AI with Zach Kamran after meeting at Y Combinator where they both led separate software teams. Simple AI's voice technology maintains latency under 850ms across the entire system, enabling natural conversations between AI agents and consumers.
