Charles Ding is Founder and CEO at Chamber, an AI infrastructure optimization platform that enables companies to run 50% more workloads on existing GPUs without manual intervention. Chamber was accepted into Y Combinator's Winter 2026 batch and helps enterprises eliminate 30 to 60% of idle GPU capacity.
Charles is a second-time founder with one exit (Bungee Tech, acquired by ClearDemand in 2025) and former engineering leader at Meta, Amazon, and Microsoft. He holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a B.S. in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology.
Charles built high-impact systems at Amount, Avant, Flexport, and Amazon, working across fintech, logistics, and GPU-related scheduling tooling. At Amazon, his team delivered hundreds of millions in cost savings through large-scale infrastructure optimization.
Chamber's agentic AI platform continuously monitors GPU clusters, forecasts demand, detects unhealthy nodes, and reallocates resources in real time. The founding team includes three fellow Amazon veterans: Shaocheng Wang, Jason Ong, and Andreas Bloomquist.
Chamber addresses the $240 billion GPU waste problem in enterprise AI infrastructure. The platform operates like an autonomous infrastructure team, enabling ML teams to move faster while reducing infra waste and eliminating GPU bottlenecks.
