Chase Kim is Co-Founder of Light Anchor (YC P26), a pioneering platform building fully autonomous AI-run consumer brands that scale at the speed of compute, not headcount.

Chase studied Information Sciences and Technology at Penn State University and went on to serve as Head of Forward Deployment at Sendbird (YC W16), a leading messaging API platform powering apps like DoorDash, Reddit, and Hinge.

At Sendbird, Chase led the forward deployment team during its high-stakes 2024 pivot into AI agents for customer experience, giving him deep, hands-on expertise in deploying production-grade AI systems.

Chase co-founded Light Anchor alongside Sangha Park, backed by Y Combinator (P26) and investors including Krew Capital, raising a Seed round to build an agentic commerce platform that operates entire consumer brands end-to-end with AI agents.

Light Anchor currently operates a flagship brand and multiple experiment stores all run by AI agents on a shared platform, with a bold vision to launch thousands of consumer businesses requiring little to no human intervention.
