Christian von Hardenberg is Co-Founder of Juna AI, a Berlin-based AI platform revolutionizing industrial process control for heavy manufacturing industries. He brings extensive experience scaling engineering teams and building technology platforms across global markets.

Christian holds a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Technical University of Berlin. He served as CTO at Delivery Hero where he scaled the tech organization from 130 to 1,000 people, and spent 5 years as CTO at Rocket Internet where he launched over 30 internet companies worldwide and served as interim CTO of Lazada.

Before his tech leadership roles, Christian worked as a consultant at Boston Consulting Group and built simulation systems for the automotive industry. He also served as CTO and later CEO of Metaversum, a Berlin-based startup building 3D virtual worlds.

Juna AI raised $7.5M in seed funding led by Kleiner Perkins, with participation from Norrsken VC and prominent investors including John Doerr. The company emerged from stealth mode in 2024 with a mission to optimize manufacturing facilities into intelligent, self-learning systems that operate autonomously.

Juna AI's platform has delivered significant results for early customers, including helping a leading European dairy manufacturer unlock 1.5 million euros in additional annual profit by optimizing spray dryer operations. The company targets heavy industries responsible for 40% of global energy consumption, focusing on reducing energy costs and carbon emissions.
