
Christine Yuen is Co-Founder and Chief Architect at Shakudo, an AI operating system that helps enterprises deploy data and AI solutions securely within their own infrastructure. She was recognized in Forbes 30 Under 30 Toronto and received the C100 Fellowship for innovation in building scalable data stack operating systems.
Christine holds an MSc in Applied Computing from the University of Toronto with a focus on statistics and machine learning. She developed AI solutions at Deloitte and BMO, including contract annotation, customer feedback analysis, and referral models.
Christine specializes in NLP and semi-supervised learning, with deep expertise in production machine learning systems. She has been instrumental in converting Shakudo customers into investors, demonstrating strong product-market fit.
Shakudo has raised approximately $18M USD across Seed, Series A, and Series A2 rounds from investors including GreatPoint Ventures, Wittington Ventures, and Golden Ventures. The company serves Fortune 500 clients including Loblaw, CentralReach, and enterprises in finance, healthcare, aerospace, and defense.
Under Christine's technical leadership, Shakudo grew revenue 6x in 2022 and achieved 7x business growth since its Series A. The platform integrates 250+ data and AI tools, helping clients reduce AI development cycles from six months to same-day delivery.
