
Christoph Lassner is Co-Founder of World Labs, a spatial intelligence company building Large World Models to perceive, generate, and interact with the 3D world.
Christoph completed his PhD in Computer Science at the University of Tubingen and Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems. He previously led research teams at Epic Games and Meta Reality Labs, and worked at Amazon following the acquisition of Bodylabs.
Christoph created the human pose estimation system for Amazon Halo and his team's work at Meta on reconstructing and rendering radiance fields was featured at Meta Connect 2022. He was awarded an Honorable Mention at the ACM Multimedia Open-Source Software Competition 2016.
World Labs raised $1 billion in February 2026 led by Autodesk with $200 million, bringing total funding to $1.23 billion. Investors include Andreessen Horowitz, NEA, Nvidia, AMD, Fidelity, and Radical Ventures.
World Labs launched Marble, its first commercial product for generating persistent 3D environments from text, images, or video. The company is targeting applications in gaming, visual effects, virtual reality, and robotics.
