
Chyna Qu is Co-Founder of PrismaX, a San Francisco-based physical AI and robotics platform building foundational models and decentralized data infrastructure for the next generation of intelligent robots. She brings a rare combination of blockchain expertise and operational leadership to the cutting edge of physical generative AI.
Chyna earned a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Penn State University and went on to serve as a Business Analyst at Cummins Inc. before pivoting into the world of decentralized technology and entrepreneurship.
Chyna is a recognized advocate for female leadership in tech and finance, and a Techstars alumni (Hub71 Class 2020), known for her ability to bridge crypto incentive design with real-world operational scale. Her blockchain expertise in leveraging crypto incentives to crowdsource disparate data is a core pillar of PrismaX's competitive advantage.
Prior to PrismaX, Chyna co-founded DeFiner Labs as Co-Founder and COO, a decentralized lending protocol that grew to $200M in assets under management and 200,000 monthly active users. She also served as Advisor and Board Member at IndexZoo, a decentralized margin trading protocol.
PrismaX emerged from stealth in June 2025 with $11M in funding led by a16z CSX, with participation from Stanford Blockchain Builder Fund, Symbolic, Volt Capital, and Virtuals Protocol. The company launched its teleoperation platform at the inaugural RoboCon event, enabling remote operation of robotic arms and targeting a future fleet of humanoid robots.
