Courtenay Traice Alexander Lindsay, known professionally as Alex Lindsay, is Co-Founder and CEO of Handshake Solutions, the first AI-native agreement platform built specifically for the retail buying industry.

Alex holds an MBA from INSEAD and previously worked at Bain and Company, where she developed deep expertise in retail strategy and operations before co-founding Handshake in 2024.

Alex identified that fewer than 50% of suppliers have formal written agreements with the retailers they sell to, spotting a massive structural gap in the $18.8 trillion global retail industry.

Under Alex's leadership, Handshake secured a $3.2 million seed round led by Triple Point Ventures, with backing from Future Back Ventures by Bain and Company and Octopus Ventures, and has already partnered with clients such as Gopuff.

Handshake is replacing fragmented spreadsheets and informal agreements with a single transparent AI-powered platform, positioning itself as the operating system for commercial agreement management across retail.
