Dan Bailey is Co-Founder and CEO of Nexcade, a London-based agentic AI platform purpose-built to automate end-to-end workflows for global freight forwarders.
Dan holds a BA in Economics and Management from the University of Oxford and built his career across investment banking, venture capital at MMC Ventures, and supply chain tech, most recently serving as COO at Sedna, a leading freight communication platform.
While at Sedna, Dan led the acquisition of a freight document automation company, revealing that even with digital tools, forwarders were still recreating manual processes in spreadsheets, a gap that became the founding thesis for Nexcade.
Dan co-founded Nexcade alongside Tasho Kjosev, a former Palantir technical lead, combining deep freight domain knowledge with cutting-edge AI engineering to build agents that automate quoting, pricing, and rate procurement.
Since emerging from stealth in late 2025, Nexcade has raised $8.5M in total funding, achieved 40% month-over-month workflow growth, and counts XPO, Zencargo, and Cardinal Global Logistics among its customers, with annual recurring revenue more than tripling in 2026.
