Dan Becker is Co-Founder and CTO at LightTable, a Denver-based AI proptech startup transforming how pre-construction teams review complex design documents.

Dan holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Virginia and built a distinguished career at Google, DataRobot, and Kaggle, where he founded Kaggle Learn and created AI courses taken by over 500,000 people.

Dan is a Kaggle Notebooks Grandmaster, finishing 2nd out of 1,350 teams in the $500K Heritage Health Prize competition, and has contributed to open-source AI tools including TensorFlow and Keras.

Prior to LightTable, Dan founded Decision.ai, an AI decision optimization platform that was acquired by DataRobot, where he went on to serve as VP of Decision Intelligence and led AI consulting projects for six Fortune 100 companies.

LightTable's AI platform identifies four times more issues than traditional peer reviews and cuts on-site coordination mistakes by up to 70%, with the company raising a $6M Seed round led by Primary Venture Partners in August 2025.
