Growing up in a real estate development family in Hudson County, NJ, Dan spent his formative years on construction sites and went on to attend Indiana University Bloomington before founding Prime City Ventures, a full-service real estate development and property management firm.

Dan is a recognized expert at the intersection of real estate and blockchain, named a 2025 NJBIZ Leader in Finance, and is a vocal advocate for using AI and distributed ledger technology to combat the rising threat of deed fraud and ransomware attacks on government systems.

Under Dan's leadership, Balcony graduated from the NJ FAST program at Stevens Institute of Technology and secured a landmark five-year contract with Bergen County, NJ to digitize 370,000 property deeds representing approximately $240 billion in real estate value, the largest blockchain deed tokenization project in U.S. history.

Balcony has raised $14 million in total funding, including a $12.7M seed round led by Blockchange Ventures, and its Keystone platform now helps government agencies manage and secure over $400 billion in property value, with expansion underway across county and state governments nationwide.
