Daniel Langkilde is Co-Founder and CEO at Kognic, a data platform accelerating machine learning for safety-critical applications like autonomous driving and robotics.

Daniel studied Engineering Mathematics at Chalmers University of Technology and worked as Team Lead for Collection and Analysis at Recorded Future. He has been a Visiting Scholar at MIT and UC Berkeley.

Daniel speaks fluent Swedish and English with basic Mandarin, previously lived in San Francisco, Shanghai, and Boston. He served as President of the Student Union at Chalmers University of Technology.

Kognic raised $24M Series A co-led by Metaplanet and NordicNinja, with total funding exceeding $40M. The platform serves technology leaders like Qualcomm, Zenseact, Continental, and BMW.

Kognic has delivered over 100 million annotations and achieved 90% year-over-year growth, expanding globally with teams in Germany, Poland, Japan, and the US. The company won Automotive Data Application of the Year at Drive AI Summit 2024.
