Darrick Horton is the Co-Founder and CEO of TensorWave, the all-AMD AI cloud specializing in high-performance, memory-intensive GPU compute for AI training and inference at scale.
Darrick studied Mathematics, Physics, and Mechanical Engineering at Andrews University, later conducted NASA-funded Plasma Physics research and served on Lockheed Martin's legendary Skunk Works team working on a compact nuclear fusion reactor.
A 2026 Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree in AI, Darrick founded TensorWave with a mission to democratize AI compute and restore competition to a GPU market dominated by a single vendor.
Prior to TensorWave, Darrick served as CTO and later CEO at VMAccel, a leading FPGA cloud provider, accumulating nearly a decade of expertise in data center, cloud infrastructure, and semiconductor technologies.
TensorWave has raised over $493M in total funding, achieved a $1.55B valuation, operates one of North America's largest all-AMD GPU clusters with 8,192 MI325X accelerators, and has 10x'd its capacity every year since founding.
