
Dr. Aaron Ring is Co-Founder of Stipple Bio and Associate Professor and Anderson Family Chair for Immunotherapy at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, where his lab works at the intersection of protein engineering and systems immunology to develop next-generation cancer therapeutics.
Aaron completed his undergraduate studies at Yale University and earned his MD/PhD at Stanford Medical School, training under leading immunologists to develop structure-based protein engineering approaches for cytokine and immune checkpoint therapies.
Recognized as one of Endpoints' '20 under 40 in Biopharma' and named to Nature Biotechnology's 'Top 20 Translational Researchers of 2020,' Aaron is a widely respected leader in cancer immunotherapy and epitope-level drug discovery.
Aaron co-founded Stipple Bio alongside Dr. Aashish Manglik, and has also founded Simcha Therapeutics, ALX Oncology, and Seranova Bio, translating breakthrough academic research into clinical-stage biotech ventures.
Stipple Bio emerged from stealth in April 2026 with a $100 million oversubscribed Series A co-led by RA Capital, a16z Bio+Health, and Nextech Invest, advancing its lead ADC candidate STP-100 toward clinical trials in early 2027.
