Aavrit Singhal is Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at InRisk Labs, a pioneering insurtech building parametric insurance products for India's agriculture and weather-sensitive sectors.

Aavrit holds an MBA in Strategy and Finance from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, and has accumulated over a decade of experience in non-life insurance marketing and product management.

Prior to InRisk Labs, Aavrit gained deep domain expertise through roles at the Agriculture Insurance Company of India (AIC), UNDP, and Vidal Healthcare, spanning insurance, international development, and health sectors.

At InRisk Labs, Aavrit co-leads a founding team that collectively managed $1.7 billion in premiums at AIC, representing roughly 50% of India's agroclimatic insurance market, and secured Seed funding from Bessemer Venture Partners in January 2025.

InRisk Labs delivers parametric insurance solutions that automatically trigger payouts based on verifiable indices like rainfall, temperature, and soil moisture, eliminating delays in traditional claims processes and advancing climate risk protection across India.
