Adam Trotman is Co-Founder and CEO of Aerium, a Toronto-based AI platform building an agentic workforce for industrial manufacturers and distributors.
Adam studied Physics and Commerce at Queen's University and worked as an analyst at McKinsey and Company's Toronto office, where he built software and agentic AI for industrial manufacturing clients.
Raised with firsthand exposure to manufacturing through his family, Adam is passionate about solving the coordination and visibility gap that holds back industrial firms, and is a recognized advocate for the manufacturing sector.
After leaving McKinsey in 2024, Adam co-founded Aerium alongside Michael Dawes and secured a $2.5M seed round led by Gutter Capital, while also participating in the Cansbridge Fellowship and Techstars programs.
Aerium has already deployed its platform with customers including a global transformer manufacturer, joined NEMA and EMDA as a member, and is targeting makers of equipment, specialty chemicals, and metal parts across North America.
