Adam Wax is Co-Founder of Taiga (YC P26), an AI-native full-stack medical billing service built for independent physician practices.
Adam grew up at his father's medical practice and went on to study CS and Math, developing a deep understanding of both technology and the operational burdens facing independent clinicians.
Inspired by watching both his and co-founder Nanda Guntupalli's physician parents lose revenue to billing inefficiencies, Adam set out to eliminate the administrative burden that pulls doctors away from patient care.
Adam co-founded Taiga alongside his childhood friend Nanda Guntupalli, and the company was accepted into Y Combinator's P26 batch, validating its approach to automating the end-to-end medical billing workflow.
Taiga is already working with independent practices, resolving complex and previously rejected claims, and enabling providers to offload coding, prior authorizations, claim submission, and denial management entirely to Taiga's AI-powered platform.
