Adith Sundram is Co-Founder and CTO at Tensr, a YC-backed deep tech company building fully autonomous robotic factories to make hardware manufacturing as scalable as cloud infrastructure.
Adith holds MS and BS degrees in Mechanical Engineering from UC Berkeley, where he also served as Controls Team Lead for AI Racing Tech, the top-ranked U.S. team in the Indy Autonomous Challenge.
Adith helped secure over $17M in DARPA and industry sponsorship for AI Racing Tech across Stanford and UC Berkeley, and contributed expertise in behavior cloning and controls to autonomous racing research.
Prior to Tensr, Adith served as Team Lead for Controls at UC Berkeley's Robot Open Autonomous Racing (ROAR) program and worked within the Berkeley AI Research (BAIR) ecosystem, gaining deep expertise in robotics and autonomous systems.
Tensr, founded in 2025 and backed by Y Combinator, is targeting the multi-trillion-dollar U.S. manufacturing sector with on-demand autonomous factories that can fulfill orders and ship finished products in under 24 hours.
