Ajay Natarajan is Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at Roadrunner, an AI-native revenue infrastructure company pioneering a new category of enterprise quoting software called PQA (Prompt, Quote, Approve).
Ajay enrolled at Caltech at age 16 and concurrently worked at NASA as an engineer, building software now used to help guide the Mars Rover. After graduating, he joined Robinhood as a software engineer, rising in under 2 years to tech lead for multiple crypto products serving millions of users.
Ajay previously co-founded Athena, an AI platform used by 2% of all U.S. high school students to optimize their college applications, which was acquired in 2025. His rare combination of deep engineering roots and product vision spans aerospace, fintech, edtech, and enterprise AI.
At Roadrunner, Ajay leads product development for a platform that replaces legacy CPQ with an agentic stack that intelligently recommends deal configurations, enforces pricing policies, and automates approval routing. The company was incubated at Kleiner Perkins and closed its first seven-figure deal within three months of building the prototype.
Roadrunner raised $27M across a Seed led by Kleiner Perkins and a Series A led by Founders Fund, marking Kleiner's first incubation since Glean. The platform is now generally available and targets the multi-trillion-dollar quote-to-cash market across enterprise sales teams.
