Zeno raised 9.5M in Seed funding in September 2024 from investors including Lowercarbon Capital, Toyota Ventures, and RedBlue. The company launched its first electric motorcycle, the Emara, in Kenya in 2025 with over 15,000 customers on the waitlist across Kenya, Uganda, and India.
Zeno operates assembly plants and charging infrastructure across East Africa and India, with plans to deploy over 500 charging stations in Kenya. The company's electric motorcycles help commercial riders increase their take-home income by up to 40% by reducing fuel costs.
