
Albinder Dhindsa is Co-Founder and CEO of Blinkit, India's leading quick-commerce platform delivering groceries in 10 minutes, and now serves as Group CEO of Eternal Limited (formerly Zomato). He previously worked as Head of International Operations at Zomato from 2011 to 2013.
Albinder graduated with a B.Tech in Civil Engineering from IIT Delhi and earned an MBA from Columbia Business School. He began his career as a transportation analyst at URS Corporation and worked as a senior associate at Cambridge Systematics for over 3 years.
Albinder co-founded Grofers with Saurabh Kumar in December 2013, which rebranded to Blinkit in December 2021 to focus on quick commerce. He is married to Akriti Chopra, former Chief People Officer at Zomato.
Blinkit raised over $700 million from investors including SoftBank, Tiger Global, and Sequoia Capital before being acquired by Zomato for $568 million in 2022. Under his leadership, Blinkit moved toward profitability and became Eternal's fastest-growing business.
Blinkit operates in 153 cities across India with over 4,700 employees and delivers 125,000 orders daily. In January 2026, Albinder was elevated to Group CEO of Eternal Limited, overseeing Zomato's entire food delivery and quick commerce ecosystem.
