Alex Harland is Co-Founder and CEO of AI Score, a London-based enterprise AI governance platform built to give organisations real-time visibility and control over their generative and agentic AI usage.

Alex was part of the founding team at the UK's National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) and previously served as Head of Cybersecurity at Compare The Market and BGL Insurance, as well as CISO Advisor at GALLOS Technologies.

With deep roots in national security and cybersecurity, Alex brings a rare combination of regulatory expertise and commercial acumen to the fast-moving AI governance space.

Alex co-founded AI Score alongside Benita Tibb and Jonathan Kewley, and has assembled an advisory board featuring former GCHQ Director Sir Jeremy Fleming and Darktrace co-founder Nick Trim.

AI Score has raised a total of $6.4M across a $1M pre-seed and a $5.4M seed round led by Fuel Ventures, with revenue growing strongly in the first half of 2026 from clients including law firms, FTSE 250 companies, and global consumer brands.
