Alex Leonov is Co-Founder and CTO at Tactiq, an AI-powered meeting transcription and knowledge platform that helps remote teams capture and share valuable meeting insights across their organizations.

Alex holds a Master's degree in Computer Science with a thesis on Artificial Intelligence from Odessa Polytechnic National University and attended Y Combinator Startup School, bringing over two decades of software engineering and solution architecture experience.

A serial entrepreneur and technologist, Alex previously co-founded TaskPace AI, an AI management assistant for Salesforce users, and served as Platform Development Manager at Henry Schein One Asia Pacific, sharpening his expertise in enterprise software and multi-cultural team leadership.

Joining Tactiq as CTO in 2021, Alex leads the engineering team behind Tactiq's browser extension, which delivers live speaker-specific transcription for Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams, alongside AI-powered summaries and custom actions.

Under Alex's technical leadership, Tactiq has grown to serve tens of thousands of users, raised over $12M in funding through Series A, and achieved consistent year-on-year revenue growth reaching $1.6M ARR in 2024.
