
Alex Sambvani is Co-Founder and CEO of Slang AI, the leading voice AI platform purpose-built for the hospitality industry. With over a decade of experience in AI and machine learning, Alex has led Slang from inception to serving over 2,000 restaurant locations globally.
Alex holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He previously worked as Senior Data Scientist at Spotify, where he built AI-powered products that reached over 100 million users, and spent several years in private equity investing at Credit Suisse.
Alex learned to code at age 14 and has spent his career bridging engineering and business. He founded Slang AI in 2019 with co-founder Gabriel Duncan, both former Spotify data scientists who saw an opportunity to fix the broken phone experience for businesses.
