
Alexander Hagerup is Co-Founder and CEO of Vic.ai, a pioneering AI platform transforming autonomous accounting and finance automation for enterprises worldwide. Alexander studied at BI Norwegian Business School and founded his first company at just 15 years old, building a strong foundation in technology entrepreneurship from an early age. Prior to Vic.ai, Alexander founded two other technology companies, including the Online Backup Company, which was funded by Northzone Ventures and later acquired by NASDAQ-listed J2 Global Inc. in 2014. His track record of building and exiting ventures underscores his ability to identify high-value market opportunities in tech.
At Vic.ai, Alexander has led the company from a seed-stage startup to a Series C company, raising a total of $115M from top-tier investors including ICONIQ Growth, GGV Capital, Cowboy Ventures, and Costanoa Ventures. Under his leadership, Vic.ai has grown its enterprise customer base and tripled its contracted annual recurring revenue in 2022 compared to the prior year.
Vic.ai has processed over half a billion invoices with up to 99% accuracy, helping 10,000+ customers achieve nearly $188 million in cost savings and 6 million hours in time savings.
