Dr. Amit Narayan is Co-Founder and CEO of GridCARE, a pioneering AI platform that unlocks hidden grid capacity to accelerate power delivery for AI data centers, reducing time-to-power from 5-7 years to just 6-12 months.

Dr. Narayan earned a B.Tech from IIT Kanpur and a PhD from UC Berkeley, and previously served as Director of Smart Grid Research at Stanford University before launching multiple successful ventures.

Recognized as a World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer and Bloomberg New Energy Pioneer, Dr. Narayan holds deep expertise spanning semiconductor EDA, energy AI, and climate tech.

He previously founded Berkeley Design Automation (acquired by Mentor Graphics/Siemens) and AutoGrid (acquired by Schneider Electric), where AutoGrid Flex was ranked the #1 Virtual Power Plant platform, managing over 8,000 MW of assets across 20 countries.

GridCARE has raised a total of $77.5M across Seed and Series A rounds, was named to Fast Company's World's Most Innovative Companies for 2026, and is actively working with nearly all major hyperscalers and over 15 data center developers.
