
Amit Yadav is Co-Founder and CEO of Ishiki Labs (YC W26), a realtime multimodal AI company building socially aware AI assistants. He advises startups and venture firms on data and modeling strategy, helping validate AI products and systems.
Amit earned his PhD in AI from Purdue University and was a Research Scientist at Meta, first in the LLaMA team training multimodal LLMs and then in Reality Labs training video assistants for smart glasses. He previously interned at Rakuten India and earned his B.Tech from IIT Gandhinagar with a Director's Medal.
Amit has 20+ publications at top AI conferences including NeurIPS, CVPR, and ICASSP, focusing on multimodal AI, speech processing, and media forensics. He worked with his co-founder Robert Xu on Meta's RayBan smart glasses project before founding Ishiki Labs.
Ishiki Labs graduated from Y Combinator's Winter 2026 batch and has built Fern, a realtime AI meeting copilot that proactively coaches users during conversations. The company is backed by Y Combinator and leverages deep technical expertise in multimodal assistant systems.
