
André Zayarni is the Co-Founder and CEO of Qdrant, the leading open-source vector database and search engine powering next-generation AI applications at enterprise scale.
André holds an M.Sc. in Computer Science from Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences and built his career across senior engineering and product roles at companies including Bigpoint GmbH, MoBerries GmbH, and PLAYTOMIC before co-founding Qdrant in 2021.
André has championed the open-source approach to AI infrastructure, arguing that engineers trust open source and that vector search is becoming foundational infrastructure for production AI systems.
Prior to Qdrant, André served as CTO and CPO at MoBerries GmbH, an AI-driven recruiting SaaS platform, and also co-founded JobBot-me, a job-hunting chatbot, demonstrating a consistent track record of building developer-focused technology ventures.
Under André's leadership, Qdrant has raised $87.8M in total funding including a $50M Series B, grown to over 100 employees, surpassed 5M open-source downloads, and counts high-profile clients such as Deloitte, Accenture, and xAI among its users.
