Andrea Luzzardi is Co-Founder of Mendral (YC W26), an AI DevOps engineer that autonomously monitors CI/CD pipelines, diagnoses failures, and opens fix PRs so engineering teams can focus on shipping product.
Andrea wrote Docker's first lines of code at dotCloud in 2011 and set up Docker's first CI in 2014, before going on to work at Google (Storage Infrastructure) and Microsoft.
With over a decade of deep domain expertise in DevOps and CI/CD infrastructure, Andrea brings rare founding-engineer credibility to the exact problem Mendral solves.
Andrea co-founded Dagger (YC W19) alongside Sam Alba and Solomon Hykes, and the two reunited to launch Mendral (YC W26), completing the batch and closing with strong investor backing from Demo Day.
Mendral is already managing CI/CD in production for teams including PostHog and Metabase, is SOC 2 certified, and is recognized as one of the strongest founding teams in the W26 batch.
