Andrea Pili is Founder and CEO at Xference, a private AI inference platform that enables European companies to run AI models securely on their own infrastructure. He is a serial entrepreneur with over 25 years of digital experience and seven startups to his name.

Andrea founded Sardegna.com, Italy's first online travel booking website that predated Booking.com and Expedia, which was acquired by Alpitour Group in 2016. He served as CEO of Sardegna.com until February 2020 and held leadership roles including Chief Marketing Officer at Queryo and CIO at Apply from June 2023 to June 2025.

Andrea has experience in Silicon Valley, data centers, GPU infrastructure, and big data systems. He is a startup advisor, mentor, and investor with expertise in digital marketing, performance marketing, and data-driven scale-up strategies.

Xference raised 700,000 euros in its pre-seed round in 2025 and has opened its seed round to institutional investors. The company launched its distributed infrastructure in Aruba's IT3 data center in Bergamo, Italy, with a beta platform for 100 early adopters launching in March 2026.

Xference is one of Italy's first private AI inference providers, offering GDPR and AI Act compliant solutions that allow companies to maintain data sovereignty. The platform provides a no-code solution for enterprises in finance, healthcare, and manufacturing to run AI models without sending data to external servers.
