Andrew Lee is Co-Founder and CEO of Tasklet, the cloud AI agent operating system for knowledge work, built to replace legacy SaaS workflows with intelligent, always-on automation agents.
Andrew holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and previously co-founded Firebase in 2011, serving as CTO until its acquisition by Google in 2014, where he continued as Director of Engineering.
Andrew's core philosophy is to 'always bet on the models,' believing open-ended agentic systems will outperform rigid step-by-step automation tools as AI capabilities rapidly improve.
After leaving Google, Andrew co-founded Shortwave, an AI-powered email client, before pivoting in 2025 to launch Tasklet, which grew over 1,200% in Q1 2026 and crossed $5M ARR.
Tasklet raised $20M at a $175M valuation from USV, Lightspeed, Y Combinator, Jeff Dean, and the Collison brothers, positioning itself as the defining automation platform of the AI era.
