Angus Muffatti is the CEO of Advanced Metal Research, a Melbourne-based company at the frontier of advanced materials and metals innovation, bringing deep technical and entrepreneurial expertise to the role.

Angus earned a First Class Honours Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering from RMIT University, where his thesis applied machine learning to optimise spacecraft trajectories and engine design.

A published researcher with citations in spacecraft propulsion, Angus co-designed optimization methodologies for Cusped Field Thrusters and competed in NASA engineering challenges against top US universities, winning his project category.

Prior to Advanced Metal Research, Angus served as Head of Propulsion Design at Arcane Aerospace, R&D Engineer at Mobius, Thermal Engineer at Airbus Defence and Space, and Co-Founder and CEO of agtech startup Agtuary.

With over 11 years of professional experience spanning aerospace, deep tech, and agribusiness, Angus brings a rare blend of research-grade engineering and startup leadership to Advanced Metal Research.
