Angus McDonald is the Co-Founder and CEO of Cover Genius, one of the fastest-growing insurtechs globally, leading the company's global expansion across travel, retail, ticketing, and logistics.

Angus holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Technology Sydney, and previously served as VP of International Business Development at iClick Interactive (NASDAQ: ICLK) and Head of Publisher Partnerships at Yahoo.

Angus co-founded Cover Genius after discovering firsthand that traditional insurance distribution was fragmented and lacked innovation while running an Online Travel Agency, pivoting to build a technology-first solution for the industry.

Under Angus's leadership, Cover Genius has raised over $244M across multiple funding rounds, including an $80M Series E led by Spark Capital, and forged partnerships with global brands such as Uber, Ryanair, eBay, and Booking Holdings.

Cover Genius now serves over 41 million customers worldwide, is licensed or authorized in over 60 countries and all 50 US states, and achieved 107% year-over-year growth in 2023.
