
Anna Altner is Founder and Head of Strategy at Yangi, a Swedish cleantech pioneer revolutionizing fiber-based packaging with its Cellera dry forming platform. She is a Chemical Engineer with over two decades of expertise in the forest industry.
Anna led production and innovation projects in the traditional forest industry before founding The Loop Factory in 2014, an innovation hub for sustainable circular materials. She invented Yangi's dry forming technology and has specialized in fiber development since 2003 and dry forming since 2010.
Anna holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Lund University. She is passionate about circular economy solutions and has built a team of 30 experts to scale Yangi's technology.
Yangi raised 10 million euros in Series A funding in September 2025, led by Industrifonden with participation from Almi Invest GreenTech and global industrial players including existing investors Voith, Chanel, and FutureLab & Partners. The company sold its first Cellera machine to a European converter and distributed products to Asian customers in 2024.
Yangi's Cellera technology enables 80% lower CO2 impact compared to plastic alternatives with 4 to 6 second cycle times. The company brings over a decade of dry forming experience and is headquartered in Varberg, Sweden, positioning itself as a key player in the transition to renewable packaging.
