Anna Curtis is Co-Founder and Head of Operations and Finance at Firenze, a Manchester-based fintech democratizing access to Lombard lending through an embedded finance platform for wealth managers.

Anna previously worked at Delio as Head of Account Management and holds qualifications from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment. Her background spans finance and operations roles across small businesses and large corporates in the UK, Malta, and Kenya.

Anna co-founded Firenze in January 2024 with David Newman, helping secure one of the largest pre-seed angel rounds outside London at 750K. Firenze won Most Promising New Entrant at the WealthBriefing awards and partners with wealth managers overseeing over 75 billion in assets.

Under Anna's operational leadership, Firenze raised 2.5M in Seed funding led by Outward VC and secured a 160M funding line from Monument Bank in February 2025. The company attracted top-tier investors including a16z, Atomico, Ada Ventures, and Lakestar.

Firenze aims to unlock over 1 billion in Lombard lending for mass affluent investors over the next three years, expanding access to loans from as little as 25K compared to traditional 1M+ minimums. The platform enables wealth managers to offer investment-backed loans without clients needing to change custody arrangements.
