Anton Poletaev is Co-Founder at MicroAGI, a Munich-based physical AI and robotics deployment startup that raised the largest seed round in German history at $55M.
Anton earned an MSc in Financial Technology from Imperial College London and previously served as a Data Scientist at the Alan Turing Institute, where he worked on AI for public services and published research on generative AI impacts.
Anton brings a rare combination of academic rigor and applied machine learning expertise, with prior experience spanning quantitative finance at SigTech, AutoML development at TurinTech AI, and AI safety research at ML Alignment and Theory Scholars.
At MicroAGI, Anton co-built Atlas, a hardware- and model-agnostic robotics data and deployment platform that fine-tunes frontier AI models for plant-specific factory tasks, serving customers across automotive, logistics, and food industries.
MicroAGI closed a $55M seed round led by Hummingbird with Northzone, LocalGlobe, Village Global, and redalpine, and has set an audacious target of deploying 20 to 30 million factory robots within five years.
