Ariel Litmanovich is Co-Founder and CTO at Aryon Security, a Tel Aviv-based Cloud Security Enforcement Platform pioneering a prevention-first approach to cloud security. He is a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree and a recognized leader in the Israeli cybersecurity ecosystem.
Ariel studied at Tel Aviv University and served as a High Level Security Researcher at the Israel Defense Forces elite Unit Matzov, gaining deep expertise in cyber security R&D. He and his co-founders also contributed to Project Nimbus, Israel's $7.2 billion national cloud infrastructure initiative, where they identified critical gaps in cloud security enforcement at scale.
Ariel's work on Project Nimbus revealed the fundamental challenge of balancing security, usability, and business continuity in cloud deployments, directly inspiring the founding of Aryon. His philosophy centers on shifting cloud security from reactive detection to proactive prevention before risks ever reach production.
Aryon Security emerged from stealth in March 2025 with a $9M Seed round led by Viola Ventures and Blumberg Capital, and in June 2026 raised a $29M Series A led by Brightmind Partners, bringing total funding to $38M. The platform is technology-agnostic, adapting to organizations' existing stacks whether using Infrastructure as Code or manual cloud management.
Aryon has been recognized as one of the Top 10 most watched cybersecurity startups of 2025 by Startup Nation Central, with backing from prominent investors including Datadog Ventures, Shlomo Kramer, and Maty Siman. The company is expanding its preventive enforcement capabilities beyond cloud infrastructure to encompass AI systems, SaaS applications, and distributed enterprise technologies.
