Artur Romanov is Co-Founder and CTO at Trace (YC S25), an AI-native workflow orchestration platform that routes tasks between human teams and AI agents to eliminate enterprise productivity loss.

Artur studied Computer Science at the University of Manchester and went on to become a senior engineer at Deliveroo, where he built a grocery data-enrichment ML pipeline spanning millions of items across thousands of retailers.

A vocal advocate for context engineering as the next frontier of enterprise AI, Artur believes that whoever delivers the best context at the right time will become the foundational infrastructure for AI-first companies.

A multi-time founder with deep roots in logistics and finance, Artur previously led backend systems and deployed workflow automation across engineering and ops, and also held a role at The Hut Group and Clustr.

Trace, backed by Y Combinator and a $3M seed round from investors including Goodwater Capital and Zeno Ventures, already serves over 30 companies and targets the 40% of productivity lost to repetitive manual tasks.
